Trip to Land Down Under

Yes, i have to admit, i LOVE to travel. and i am so grateful ditemukan dgn jodoh yg sgt suka berjalan jugak! hehe.. and as i mention in previous post, we were actually plan a trip to Melbourne masa tgh holiday kat Redang lagi! ahaaa. As far as i can remember, i suggest to MR KK to go to Melbourne for our next trip, coz kononnye its for his birthday treat lah. then mmg rezeki lah kot, masa check kat airasia harga tix utk pegi ke Melbourne is RM425 *WOOOAAAHHHHHH* ok. tu one way utk seorang ye. blom masuk tax and blablabla. but still, mmg WOOOAAAHHHHHHH!

Lpas dh campur tax and fuel surcharge dan sebagainya. Total per person hanya lah RM1340.00 WOAAAHHHHHH jugak sbb lpas nmpak harga ni trus call Heidi (girlfriend yg dh 4 5 tahun duk blaja kat Melbourne) and she said "eh murah lah lat. i if nak pegi blk pon sometimes the price is around 2-3k one way! WOOAAAHH again. eh over nyaa byk sgt woah. but yes sgt teruja sbb mmg dh lamaa sgt nak pegi aussie tp x penah berkesempatan. lpas dh nmpak harga yg mcm tu, trus discuss dgn MR KK and sama2 agree nak pegi. hihi. masa kitorg plan ni it was on June and the trip ni pegi masa September! book 3 bulan awal pon still can get this price, sbb tu la xnak lpas kan peluang. *ka-ching! there goes my savings :p

Sempat jugak buat comparison dgn MAS. mana la tau kot kot harga sama ke lagi murah ke kan.. but NOTTT. its abour rm500 jgak different. so we stick with our first choice, Air Asia X :) so as u can see in the photo above, total for two person, return ticket ke Melbourne, Australia is just RM2,680! i am so proud of myself dapat beli tiket murah! MUAHAHHAHA......ooppppssss. tp tu harga tiket je ye, kitorg blom beli utk luggage ataupon any meal masa tu. sbb kitorg just nak confirm kan tiket for that price je so bila dh nmpak harga tu, beli siap2, korang pon mesti tau kan nak add luggage n meal tu nak dkat2 hr nak travel br tambah pon bolehh. so yeah kitorg add bag n meal masa bulan September nak pegi tu. i dont really remember how much we bought for luggage and meals. rasanya lpas add up pon, total kitorg byr kat Air Asia (means we add another 2 3 hundred utk luggage n meal) ni around 3k in total! 

(return tix for 2, siap luggage siap makan) berbaloi bukan? ;)

im gonna continue writing about our trip to Australia soon. there are so much to share! mmg confirm tak ckup satu post! and the trip was 6months ago, ada bnde yg dh lupa skit2, so i need sometimes to recall then only i can write something which is more informative. its better that way kan? when you read my blog, uolls bukan je dpt rasa best nye travel tu but at least bole kasi uolls info bila uolls nak jalan nnt. hehe. till then~

Tadaaaaa~ USS HERE WE COME! (jerit dalam hati bila MR KK send me this via iMessage)

2012 mmg tahun kitorg berjalan sakan. tak lama lepas blk dr Redang (well actually masa kat Redang, tgh santai2 tu sempat kitorg book tiket ke Melbourne okk - ok xpe tu cite nnt :p ) MR KK book tix utk ke USS for two. Untung lah masa tu maybank buat promo. kalau beli tiket USS pakai maybank2u, ada $10 off per person. that was a good deal ok. SGD10 tu sama dgn lebih kurang RM25! so masa kitorg beli tix ni kira save rm50 lah utk tix 2 org! best kan? :) Lepas dah set date nak masuk USS 7th July so kitorg pon cari hotel2 berdekatan. well.. if nak duduk dkat ngan USS, mmg kene duduk kat Sentosa lah, and NO, we dont have that much budget that time, and mmg plan nk singapore ni nak g USS  je pon. so we end up book hotel in JB, Tune Hotel! for accomodation it only cost us rm116 for 2nights. great deal huh? :) tapiii rm116 tu blik je tau, tune hotel ni kalau kita nak apa2 smue kene byr extra, so utk aircond (24jam) towel and toiletries kitorg add another rm22. kitorg mmg dh kira2 dh dlm masa 2 mlm mmg x habes pon pakai aircond 24jam sbb kitorg kan nak g USS tu smue. and another good deal yg Tune Hotel ada offer is odyssey coach ke Sentosa (utk ke USS lah) rm25 return ticket per person. so awal2 kitorg trus book blik 2mlm + pakej aircond towel etc + return coach to sentosa for 2.. dan total nyaa byr kat Tune Hotel tu rm188! i wonder if there is any other place bole offer harga mcm ni (kalau bajet hotel rumah kedai tu mgkin lah kan) But seriously this Tune hotel in JB blik die bersih and selesa eventho agak kecik tp mmg berbaloi.

P/S:  fyi TIDAK ADA almari nk sangkut baju, TIDAK ADA iron board (tapi ada blik iron),
NO fridge and NO breakfast provided dkat Tune Hotel ini okay. and Tune Hotel sama mcm airasia book awal harga murah, last minute mahal skit tp x mahal sgt pon la (about rm68 per night)

6july kitorg gerak JB naik kete, MR KK mmg rajin drv jauh, kalau i nak tlg drive pon die x kasi pon. mgkin die x confident kot? -___-" smpai dh agak petang.. trus check in then kitorg makan kat Danga Bay. not so far from hotel. balik trus rest utk berjalan2 kat USS esok hari nya tu! tiket coach odyssey tu kalau bole uolls redeem awal2 ye bila dh check in sbb diorg ckp tiket tu first come first serve so baik lah redeem tiket cpat2 supaya x melepas huhuhu.. masa kitorg smpai kaunter redeem dh tutup so pagi tu seawal 7pagi kitorg dh tgg depan tu nk redeem takut tiket habes. (we dont want to miss the first coach yg gerak ke sentosa) tmpt redeem tu x jauh, it just nxt to 7-Eleven yg ada kat bwh Tune Hotel tu :)

Day 2 : 

Lpas redeem tiket kitorg trus beratur nak naik bas (free seating) pastu x lama pon naik bass dlm sejam cmtu smpai dh USS, masa smpai tu USS pon blom bukak (open at 10am) hee so dh smpai kitorg bergmbar la kat tmpt2 wajib depan tu  dulu hehe..

Menggedik dalam Odyssey Coach ke USS

Dah masuk dlm tu ofcoz lah kitorg pusing satu USS tu kan. Rasanya dkat 10 kali gak la kitorg "tawaf" USS tu, and my personal opinion, Transformer is must ride okk. and shrekk pon best! ancient egypt ada roller coaster jugak and its quite scarry :( huuu tapi best jugak sbb mencabar! kat USS tu ada 7 zone yg berlainan kejap uoll rasa mcm kat NY kejap kat Hollywood pastu tetibe zaman egypt pastu ceria dgn madagascar! OHMYYY besttt tulis blog ni buat rasa mcm nak plan for 2nd USS trip pulakk! haha. im gonna post some of our picture in USS ok? and just let the picture do the talking! this place really make me feel like a kid again! and for those ada anak tu, sesuai sgt lah bwk anak2 jalan kat sini. CONFIRM diorg enjoy sgt!

Selepas puas berjalan kat dalam USS tu. main puas, makan ckup, souvenir pon dh beli, kitorg naik balik bas coach odyssey tu blk ke hotel di JB. blk tu trus tido sbb kepenatan huhu. Nxt day bgn dan check out, makan dan trus pulang ke KL tanah airku. :p

Drive naik kereta KL-JB (minyk dan tol)  = lebih kurang RM250
Makan2 di Danga Bay dan jajan lain = RM 50
Accomodation Tune Hotel dan Bas ke USS = RM188

Perbelanjaan dalam USS = kitorg tuka RM300 which is equivalent to SGD120
*depends on u guys brape nak spend sbb SGD120 tu mmg more than enough kalau nak makan sahaja. but for us kitorg dpt makan and beli souvenier (mug, fridge magnet) with that amount of money. :)

Alhamdulilah.. 45minit naik ferry pastu kitorg pon smpai lah kat Pulau Redang yg indah ni.. smpai2 je kitorg2 trus check in pastu rehat kejap then lunch (provided) i can say tmpt kitorg stay tu (Redang Lagoon) blik die mmg ok.. ok ok la not so ok. yg tak best nye sbb masa kitorg smpai tu tetibe bekalan lektrik kat resort tu terputus. kalau x mmg ok je laa. and the food also so-so. sbenanye byk resort kat sana yg korang bole pilih mengikut bajet. tp masa kitorg nak pegi tu mmg we dont have any other choice :( and kitorg mmg xde nak amek mahal2 sbb dh tau dh mmg duk dlm blik tu kejap2 je. tp dr bwh ni ada list harga yg mgkin bole bantu utk korang planning.

P/S: Kalau g pulau biasa kita sebok g snorkelling dengan lepak tepi pantai . thats y we prefer resort biasa2 je xnk mahal2. Lagipon kita bole je melawat resort2 lawa2 tu jalan kaki je. hehe

Ptg tu ada sesi snorkeling kat pantai depan resort kitorg, ni mmg masuk pakej skali. tp kitorg x join sbb setakat depan resort mana la ada ikan atau terumbu yg lawa2 tu. so kitorg duk je lepak tepi pantai smbil minum coke n makan jajan. pastu ada jual burger apa smue. kira mcm berpicnic dan sesi romantik gitteww. utk siapa yg x penah g pulau, nk bgtau la ye mknan dan minuman kat situ mahal2. so bwk lah xtra cash (sbb kat redang xde atm!) kalau mmg uolls jenis mcm i and hubby. mulut x henti nak kunyah hehe.

Day 2 :

Pagi seawal 8pagi kitorg dah grak nak g snorkeling. You gotta experience urself to see how cantik is the island. eh kemain rojak lagi bahasa. ptg tu blk kitorg santai je kat pantai. smbil snap2 gmba. im gonna share some of the pictures here. mlm ada dinner bbq yg kene grill sendiri then kitorg lpak kat tepi beach dgn ada hiburan lagu ada la penyanyi pulau kat situ. we really had a good time in Redang. view yg cantik, laut biru, tenang.. haih mmg best :)

nothing much we do on the last day sbb sebok kemas makan n lpak tepi pantai je until ferry smpai. naik ferry blk ke jetty and bas balik ke KL. Thank you Redang for a good memory. till we meet again! :)

Our very first beach holiday!

Yeah finally after almost a year planning to write this kind of travelogue, today 22.3.2013 which is exactly sebulan we both officially as husband and wife, baru lahh ada masa and mood nak buat and tulis blog ni. I dont expect this blog to be famous and akan di baca oleh ramai org but i just hope what i share here can help anyone yg nak pergi travel. as for me, i found travelogue ni mmg byk tolong bila we all sendiri yg nak pergi travel, x kira la mana2 pon, dalam or luar Malaysia. Andddd actually its like my own travel diary jugak. nnt kalau dah tua and baca blk mesti rasa best je kannn.. Huhuhu actually this is not my first blog, i have my own personal blog but i am just too shy to share. Hah! But this one, x kisah lahhh because i find it exciting bila nak share pasal berjalan ni. Ok.. pjg sgt ni mukadimah.. lets just proceed with my main intention. The very first post ni... haa our three days and two nights experience dkat Pulau Redang! weeee! and that was our very first beach holiday together!

My other half decided to take me to Pulau Redang for my 25th birthday since sbenanye masa tu both of us sgt sgt nak pergi pulau.. and most of pulau kat Malaysia ni kitorg dh penah pegi. I dh penah pegi perhentian and tioman.. sama lah jgak other half pon dah byk kali ke perhentian katanyaa.. so last2 die decide pegi pulau yg we both x penah jejak. kononnya mcm pegi tmpt baru, sama2 x penah pegi. br la btul2 explore katanye.. hehehe kang kalau pegi tmpt yg salah sorang dh pegi, tah mcm x best je kan.

Other half ni die decide and bayar je. Tp yg kene arrange nya, birthday girl sendiri jugak.. Cisss. Haha but no complaint lah sbb sbenanye die pon tau i jenis suka bab2 arrange ni. First skali i sms kat Kak Ita, one of agent kalau nk g pulau2 ni. kenal akak ni pon sbb i penah pegi perhentian masa 2010 dulu kwn i cntct ngan akak ni. kebetulan masih simpan cntct die so trus je la sms die utk tnye pakej. i think masa date kitorg nak pegi tu, tgh agak peak. so byk chalet penuh.. tp sbb kitorg nak pegi gak, so kitorg amek je la pakej Kak Ita offer.

Whats the offer? the price is rm380 per person and pakej tu termasuk lah 3 hari 2 malam siap makan smue.. siap pakej snorkeling smue lah.. duduk dkat Redang Lagoon nama chalet kitorg tu.. nak lebih jelas lagi, ni kitorg dapat utk pakej rm380 per person :

* Ferry Shahbandar-Redang-Shahbandar jetty
* 3 DAYS 2 NIGHT Stay at Redang Lagoon
* 2 kali breakfast
* 2 kali lunch
* 1 kali buffet dinner and mlm terakhir tu BBQ dinner (grill sendiri ye)
* Snorkeling trip (biasanye snorkeling equipment x termasuk dlm pakej. Nnt kat sana br byr for the equipment - life jacket, mask snorkel, fin - for ours, smue termasuk)

So dh tiba hari, kitorg pon amek bas kat Stesen Bas Putra. yg dkat ngan PWTC tu. naik bas kol 11 mlm lah x silap masa tu. sorry sbb x dpt nak bg exact time sbb mmg ada yg dh lupa... huhuhu. and tiket masa tu RM40 seorang/one way. tp i mmg ingt kitorg beli tiket bas tu awal seminggu. sbb mmg time kitorg g Redang to peak. and mmg masa nak beli bas tu pon byk yg dah full.. last2 kitorg naik bas Transnasional.. bas pegi Terengganu ni mmg kebanyakan nya bas tgh mlm so sepanjang jalan kitorg x buat apa sgt dh la. siang tu penat kan bdn then naik bas, trus tido. tau2 kol 630pagi kitorg pon smpai kat Hentian Bas Syahbandar, Kuala Terengganu.. lebih kurang 7 jam lebih la perjalanan. smpai2 tu kitorg mamai yg sgt xde fkir apa dah trus je pegi kat kedai mkn berdekatan. mmg trun je bas tu ada kedai makan n ramai makan kat situ. not a fancy kedai makan la. gerai biasa kat stesen bas je.. so sementara tgg ferry yg di katakan nak gerak kol 9am (which masa tu we hv no idea at all jetty kat mana) siap2 makan yg dlm keadaan mamai2 tu br la kitorg pkir mana nak cari jetty. org kata, malu bertanya sesat jalan, so kitorg pon tnye la org2 kat situ yg kebanyakan nya org2 tempatan situ lah. kat situ dh mmg byk pakcik teksi, kalau kita tnye kat die, confirm la die suruh naik teksi die. tp nasib la lpas dh tnye 2 pakcik teksi mcm tu ada sorang tu yg btul2 membantu, die ckp x jauh pon kalau jalan (2 pakcik sblm tu x membantu lgsg tnjuk jalan duk sebok suruh naik teksi die je! - tp xpe la paham2 je la org nak cari rezeki) soooo kitorg fkir kalau bnde bole jalan, xyah la nak bazir duit sgt nak naik2 teksi ni. lagi pon bontot pon dh lenguh duk dlm bas sepanjang mlm. kitorg exercise je pagi2 buta jalan pi jetty tu. my personal opinion, baik jalan je kaki. sbb mmg x jauh n jalan kat situ pagi2 pon sgt tenang n x bahaya lgsg (some of ppl might concern pasal keselamatan sbb kat tmpt org kan) well kitorg pon concern n since mmg kitorg nmpak keadaan selamat je, tu yg kitorg jalan je.. feeling2 tourist gittewww :p

setibenyeee di jeti, ye mmg masih sunyi sbb masih awal pagi.. tp nmpak ramai lah yg pakai2 bj dh sedia nak jalan kat pantai. kitorg tnye siap2 kat org situ btul ke x jetty g Redang ni kan. dh die ckp btul so kitorg tgg je la sbb die kata ferry blom smpai pon. tp sblm tu kene amek pass dulu. according to Kak Ita die ckp sebut nama je so g kat kaunter i pon sebut je la nama i, pastu trus die kasi pas. and we have to pay rm5, - ni x termasuk dlm pakej. thats for tiket marine park (cukai kerajaan).
